PROJECT: MULTIPURPOSE ROOM - $4,000
A multipurpose room has been started on the roof of the orphanage but $4000 is needed to finish the project. The space will be be used to tutoring, classes, meeting, parties and a variety of other things. We have great vision for this room. It is currently the structure of the room with a roof, ceiling and 3 walls.
PROJECT: RUNNING WATER - $2,000
A well was dug and we now have a water pump meaning we have water in the house for the first time in over a year. We currently need to put piping throughout the house, purchase a tank and a pressurizer in order to have running water.
PROJECT: CLOSETS & STORAGE - $2,000
Closets and storage are needed for the kids clothes and personal belongings. We would like to build 5 closets to put in the bedrooms. The kids clothes are currently kept in laundry hampers. $2,000 is needed to build closets and provide individual storage for the kids so they can have a space that's their own. PROJECT: WINDOWS IN BEDROOMS - $1,500
The current windows are small slats of concrete. The windows in the downstairs bedrooms and the office need to be replaces. $1,500 is needed to replace the windows to allow light and air into the rooms.
PROJECT: DINING ROOM - $800
$800 is needed to put together a dining room for the kids. The room and the space is a available but we need a table and seating space.
PROJECT: FINISHING EXTERIOR OF THE HOME - $6,000
The exterior needs to be finished and painted.
